Visionary Projects & Lower East Side Girls Club

We are excited to announce our upcoming benefit exhibition to support the Lower East Side Girls Club. Since 1996, The Lower Eastside Girls Club connects young women and gender-expansive throughout New York City to healthy and successful futures through free, innovative year-round programming and mentoring.
Serving young people from across the five boroughs through city-wide initiatives, they have programming in STEM, Arts, Digital Media, Music, Wellness, Leadership, and College and Career Exploration. Their 35,000 sq. ft facility includes a Maker Shop for robotics; Environmental Studies lab for STEM exploration; Alphabet City Art School for visual arts and crafts; Center for Digital Media; Sound Studio for music production and our radio station/podcast, WGRL (Where Girl Radio Lives); Design Studio for material arts; an expansive and productive rooftop farm; full Culinary Education Center; and 64-seat dome Planetarium.

To join the exhibition & party,
All artists, every background of every country are welcome to submit artwork on paper or canvas. There is no theme for the show, but artwork selection will be curated thoughtfully. We are giving back to our community while celebrating artists and creative platforms.
The opening for this show is on Friday, July 17th
Artwork on paper or canvas only, under 20” on it’s longest side.
You must complete the application through the portal below to participate. Applications cannot be altered or changed once submitted.
Artwork JPEG images uploaded to your submission form should be very clear and without surrounding distractions. Please keep images at clear quality, no screenshots.
ALL submitted artwork must be under $1,200. Since this is a benefit exhibition where proceeds are going directly to City Relief, artist commission will be 25% when work sells, unless you choose to donate the proceeds! All work will need to be shipped or dropped off at our 124 Forsyth St gallery by Sunday, June 8th.
Artwork submission is $20. This fee goes directly toward City Relief efforts & supporting our creative community.

All submissions and payments are private, secured and protected. You should receive an automatic email upon successfully completing your application! We are not able to edit applications once they are submitted! Please check thoroughly before submitting any mistakes.
Due to the nature of this project, submissions fee’s are nonrefundable and will go towards the exhibition and/or City Relief.
