Elspeth Vince (b.1993, UK) is a London-based painter whose work explores entropy, instability, and self-portraiture as a means to examine wider structures.
She received her MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art in 2025 and previously studied at Turps Banana (2023) and Winchester School of Art (2014), where she specialised in printmaking. Her work draws on devotional formats and self-portraiture, often exploring the shifting boundaries of female identity, stillness, and constraint.
Recent solo exhibitions include Casting Circles at Dijonns, London (2024), and The Exchange of Small Gifts at Cuturi Gallery, Singapore (2023). Group exhibitions include Momentum at Galleria Objets, London (2025), These Boots Are Made For Walkin’ at Room 57 Gallery, New York (2024), and Symphony of Radiance at SeeFood Room Gallery in Hong Kong (2024).
In 2023, she completed a residency at Cuturi Gallery in Singapore. Her work is held in the Green Family Art Foundation (Texas, USA), as well as private collections in Lisbon, Hamburg, Singapore, Hong Kong, New York, and London.
She has been featured in publications such as It's Nice That, Surface Mag, Timeout Singapore, The Sunday Times Style, and The Art Gorgeous, and was part of the Gucci x Hypebeast New Wave Art campaign in 2022.
Elspeth is a recipient of the 2025 Eaton Fund Charity Trust Grant, the 2024 Oppenheim- John Downes Memorial Trust Grant and the Royal College of Art’s President and Vice- Chancellor’s UK Cost of Living Scholarship.
