Exhibition Open Call

[FORTNIGHT]

We are excited to announce our next show in the the heart of Chelsea — located at 231 10th Avenue. This will be a 2-week exhibition for select artwork to be featured within this beautiful white-cube gallery space, in collaboration with Haus Incubator.

Where art & fashion merge for a Fortnight — for this collection we are seeking artwork that is textured and sculptural. We are open to unique wall-based art and sculpture, as well as objects that are to be displayed on gallery pedestals. All mediums and forms of expressions are welcome. This exhibition will highlight a fusion of art and fashion in a subtle, yet striking way.

Artists who are able to drop off their work in-person (ideally based in the NYC tri-state area) are welcome to apply with works in the following mediums: painting, mixed media, sculpture, ceramics & pottery. All work must be ready for install - including any wiring for hanging. If you have a stand and/or a certain way you prefer to exhibit a non wall-based piece, please include it in your submission!

All sizes will be considered. No shipping of artworks will be allowed. Sculptural pieces are selected on a case-by-case basis. Please use photos of the space on this page for spatial reference! This theme welcomes all styles of artwork. All artists are responsible for delivering their work to the NYC location in Chelsea.

You must complete the application through the portal below to be considered for this opportunity. Please read the format requirements below carefully to avoid ineligibility. Feel free to send any questions or concerns you may have to info@visionaryprojects.org

Artwork JPEG images uploaded to your submission form should be clear and without surrounding distractions. File size should be within the range of 1500px and 4000px — not too small where images are blurry, but not too large where they take up heavy storage space.

All selected pieces will be included in this upcoming in-person exhibition from September 9th-22nd. Your work will also be promoted to our platforms broad international audience and collectors of 1m+ unique visitors. A credit and link to your website, social media and all necessary contact information will be listed next to your selected piece(s) on our platform. 

Submitted artwork should ideally be for sale, all accepted artwork will have the option to be purchased in person and directly through our e-commerce portal. A standard gallery commission of 50% will be processed through the action of a sale.

All selected artists will be notified by email with further instructions on moving forward with your participation by Friday, August 23rd!

Artwork submissions allow for up to 10 pieces for $30. This fee goes toward supporting the exhibition and all future opportunities around supporting our creative community.
