The Residency

Mexico City: August 17-23, 2026

This summer we are giving 10 Artists from around the world the space to grow and explore their practice in the heart of vibrant Mexico City. This Residency is a unique experience for artists of all stages who are looking to immerse themselves within a beautiful villa and dive deep into new projects and ideas. There will be special guests from prominent galleries and institutions, as well as a private chef to cook group meals and an abundance of time to explore the city on your own or with new friends. This is a space to experience your personal cultural renaissance. We are providing the space, materials, and support to make it happen.

This Residency is a non-traditional space with no explicit rules or demands on the finished product. We only ask for you to come in with an open mind and take all you can from this experience.

A COMPLIMENTARY/FREE spot for this opportunity will be offered to one artist. This will include everything being paid for and your application fee returned.

We hope to foster the growth of the next generation of emerging and mid-career artists, giving them the platform and exposure to elevate them. We will be documenting the week and host a curated group exhibition post-residency.

  • We carefully go through and seriously take into consideration each application one-by-one.

We focus on where an artist is at in their journey personally, diversity and drive.

To avoid receiving thousands of submissions - essentially creating less competition for you AND weeds out low effort applications - a one time non-refundable application fee of just $22 is the cost to submit an application. This fee will be deducted for selected artists who participate in The Residency. The fee also allows us to cover future project initiatives like this and support emerging artists.

Once an artist is selected, they will have 3 days to confirm their spot.

You can expect to hear back from us on the status of your application by end of April.

  • We are offering ONE person to join this Residency completely FREE of cost.

The small fee to apply for this Residency is being used to help an artist with this opportunity of a lifetime.

There is no special reason or selection process for who will receive the complimentary spot. All we ask is for a great application and your WHY.

The winner will be announced on our platform.

  • You will be living for one week amongst 10 others in a classic 8-bedroom villa in the heart of Mexico City’s Roma Norte neighborhood.
