Mindfulness

“Mindfulness has become an essential component in contemporary life, reminding us to take a breath and become aware of our thoughts and immediate surroundings. In our ever connected social society, our virtual interactions compete for prominence and can cloud our perceptions of the world around us. Practicing mindfulness helps us cultivate a moment to moment awareness that calms the mind and fosters meaningful connections and self-growth. The diverse works included in this group exhibition best reflects the theme, offering viewers an inspiring space of tranquility and peace.”
Disrupting the Stillness nurtures some of the innate qualities and feelings defining abstract art— and in a time where much of our world is experiencing a sense of isolation, disrupting the stillness of life through the act of creation is a powerful commodity.
