Josephine Baltzersen (b. 1992, Copenhagen) holds an MFA from the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna (2022). She explores the intersection of classical casting and printing techniques with a focus on storytelling. Inspired by antique sculptures and polychromy, Baltzersen challenges societal norms and seeks broad representation and inclusion. Her works reflect on historical narratives, open up different perspectives and encourage reflection on how we define our own stories.
