"Can you see the light?" by Edouard Cholet

$1,100.00

Oil on wood
14 x 11 x 1.5"

Edouard Cholet, born in 1997, is a French artist based in Paris whose work explores introspection and self-discovery in the contemporary world. A former elite golfer who studied in the United States on a sports scholarship, Cholet's life took an unexpected turn towards art following a major health challenge. Trained at École Penninghen, he developed a unique style blending duality and contrast, inviting viewers on an inner journey through his paintings. In 2023, Cholet held his first solo exhibition in Paris, marking his emergence on the contemporary art scene. His art balances contradictions - shadow and light, fear and hope, physical and spiritual - reflecting the complexity of human experience and encouraging acceptance of our strengths and weaknesses as keys to personal growth.
